Rules and eligibility
- You must complete your placement matches and receive a rank first. Placement matches do not count toward tournament RR or the five eligible matches required for prizes.
- At least five completed eligible event matches are required for a cash prize. Staff can compete.
- Matches must start on or after both registration and the event start, and finish strictly before the event deadline. Late registration gives no retroactive credit.
- Only saved, verified ranked 5v5 results count. Losses subtract RR. Placement seeding, voided matches and manual rank changes do not count.
- Ties are broken by event wins, then the earliest time the final net RR total was reached. If players remain tied, each receives the full prize for their shared place, including all players tied at fifth. The next place skips the positions occupied by the tie (for example, 1st, 1st, 3rd). Total payouts may exceed $500.
- Cheating, smurfing, account sharing, boosting, win trading and intentional throwing are prohibited and may result in disqualification. Decisions and appeals are recorded. Recorded footage of any cheaters may be submitted in our Discord or on our Reddit page for quicker action.
Support, review and payouts
Use Tournament support inside Lights Out. Tickets go directly to this event's admin page. Include a match reference where possible. Do not put payment details in tickets.
Disputes close 24 hours after the event ends. Winners are confirmed after review.
Confirmed winners receive payment within seven days after valid payout details are received privately. The tournament page tracks your payout status. Participants earn a launch badge; confirmed winners earn a permanent winner badge.
Outage policy
For any period Lights Out is down or there are match-breaking issues, an equivalent amount of time will be added to the tournament duration. Verified incidents update the event and dispute deadlines shown here. Overlapping incidents count once.
